Delicious Spanish Summer Cocktails

Today, we want to talk you about two popular drinks of Spain, both created from one of the main and most fabulous spanish product, Wine.

Many people know about Sangria, but how about Tinto de Verano or Rebujito?

Tinto de Verano, is a well-known drink of Spain, very fresh and easy to make.

Rebujito, is made with Fino Sherry, very typical in Sevilla, Andalucia, and is the most popular drink during La Feria.

These two cocktails, are the perfect complement for a summer dinner, or a pool party. I know, that is not going to be easy to find in your city, but… you can make it, because is super easy!

Tinto de Verano Recipe:
½ cup red wine
½ cup of lemon-lime soda, sprite ir 7-up (In Spain we use Gaseosa, lightly sweetened soda)
Ice
Slice of lemon

In a tall glass, place 3-4 ice cubes. Add red wine, soda and garnish with a lemon slice.

Rebujito Recipe:
½ cup Fino Sherry (if you can’t find it you can use some good white wine, but the flavor will not be the same).
½ cup of lemon-lime soda, sprite ir 7-up
Ice
Slice of lemon

In a tall glass, place 3-4 ice cubes, add Fino Sherry and soda.

Both drinks are really tasty, you can drink a lot without realizing it is making you drunk: so be moderated and remember:

Never drive your car after drinking Spanish Cocktails!!
